KITTIE Frontwoman Interviewed On 'All Knowing Force'; Audio Available

Guitarist/vocalist Morgan Lander of Canadian all-girl metal act KITTIE was the featured guest on the September 21, 2009 edition of the "All Knowing Force" web-based interview show. "In The Black", the new album from KITTIE, sold around 3,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 132 on The Billboard 200 chart.

KITTIE's previous CD, "Funeral for Yesterday", opened with 9,000 units back in February 2007 to land at No. 101.

"In The Black" will be made available in Europe on October 23 via Germany's Massacre Records.

"Cut Throat", the new video from KITTIE, can be viewed below. The clip was directed by David Brodsky (SUICIDE SILENCE, GWAR, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER) in an old, abandoned department store in Brooklyn, New York and it "perfectly captures what this band is all about," said Morgan. "The make-up artist didn't really appreciate the fact that our make-up was sliding down our faces from the first note, but this isn't pretty or nice or dainty. This is metal and the 'Cut Throat' video perfectly embodies that."
